At LIGHTALLIANCE we care about the health and wellbeing of our clients, staff and creative partners. Therefore, we have engaged a programme of remote working as a temporary measure.
Our staff from all global locations are already working remotely - (more by coincidence than plan) - we were all meant to be in Frankfurt @ Light+Building - so it was relatively easy to re-plan the week and re-schedule any online meetings from home when that event was postponed. All of our designers and technical staff have the same home-office set-up, with secure high-speed access to our cloud servers. This means we can all easily communicate effectively (with each other and with you) and work remotely from afar.
We are here to support our client’s and projects throughout this time and do not anticipate any notable interruption to our pre-planned deliverables at this stage. However, we are regularly evaluating the situation and working with any specified suppliers to understand any potential impact on their own business operations, deliveries and ways to mitigate any known impacts or exploring alternative plans where necessary.
Our current strategy is to avoid any face-to-face meetings, or unnecessary travelling in the short term (to minimise any risk of exposure as advised). Where any site visits may be required for new or existing projects, we will review the best approach and opportunities to address these on a case by case basis. The main focus is on working effectively whilst prioritising the safety of all concerned. We are reviewing this weekly in line with the latest guidance and recommendations of local government advisers and the World Health Organisation.
Our studio support staff in each location have been issued with instructions on how to implement additional hygiene procedures including cleaning and disinfection; and how to identify and manage any suspected cases. Rigorous hygiene is one of the best ways to avoid the spread of such viruses and prior to our staff returning to work in the studio all areas will be treated accordingly.
We genuinely appreciate your understanding during these challenging times, wish everyone all the very best of health and will provide any updates as the situation evolves.
