THE LIGHT + BUILDING 2026 COOLKITLIST IS LIVE!
March has been a bit of a blur… with the unexpected and awful events unfolding in the Middle East, more Travel chaos, Extreme weather events, Extra deadlines squeezed in before and after the Eid break and in the lead up to Easter… Yet somehow, in the middle of all that noise, our industry found ways to come together, share ideas, and keep pushing forward.
And as a result of all this … the Light + Building 2026 COOLKITLIST has arrived!
It’s always exciting to see each edition come together, but this one feels especially charged - new ideas, new collaborators, and a few surprises that reflect just how fast our world is moving - Such as Wireless luminaires, AI‑guided responsive control systems, Systems that noticeably calm us down… or help us sleep and support the natural rhythms we’ve been suppressing for too long”
It’s an inspiring time to be part of this community, and felt pretty special to catch up with so many likeminded souls this month - sharing thoughts, exchanging ideas, and spending some quality time together, focussing on positive outcomes, even if the world around us feels anything but predictable!
